WHAT DRIVES US?
86,7% of the total population in Lithuania consists of Lithuanian, Even if other 13,3 % represent social minorities, statistically speaking, Lithuania is a very homogeneous country. This is often one of the reasons behind its inclination to resist changes.
Even if Lithuanians consider their society to be tolerant, discrimination towards foreigners, other cultures or other religions – especially Islamic – is still an issue.
As citizens and as an NGO we want to provide a positive contribution to improve our society.
