"Balturka works together with all members of the Lithuanian society, locals, and foreigners. The core of our mission is to contribute to the understanding and to the acceptance of other people and cultures. What we want to achieve during our path and through our actions can also be define as the “Art of Living Together”.

EVENTS
Poetic Umbrella“Under the Umbrella of the Lithuanian Language and Culture” encourages foreigners living in Lithuania to immerse themselves in the country's culture by learning the Lithuanian language and its poetry. Every year, we invite foreigners to learn Lithuanian poems and songs with the help of volunteers and perform them on stage for the local community during a special event.

Intercultural ParkAssociation Baltic Turkish Culture Academy initiated the project, during which foreigners who live in Lithuania had the opportunity, together with Lithuanians, to plant trees and furthermore creating an international park. Tree planting is a part of the process of integration; foreigners feel welcomed in the Republic of Lithuania.
